Espresso Smith, a Colorado family business, came up with the brilliant idea to infuse coffee beans with whisky aromas. Whiskey Barrel Coffee was born of this fragrant combination.
First, coffee beans are poured into authentic bourbon barrels. As they macerate, they soak up the liquid and, of course, the taste. Some beans are even treated to a coating of white or dark chocolate—whatever your predilection, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by this bold pairing!
Espresso Smith puts just as much effort into packaging: no burlap or brown paper bags here! Instead, like the spirit that inspires their coffee, beans come in a wax-sealed bottle, labelled and numbered by an artisan. No detail is spared to deliver fresh, high-quality coffee. A bottle sells for between $30 and $50, depending on the bean and aroma.
