Bourgeois / Lechasseur architects designed the Altaïr (meaning “flying eagle”) house in Quebec’s beautiful Charlevoix region, overlooking the St-Lawrence River. Its V-shape was especially created to allow its occupants to enjoy the view from numerous different angles through full-height windows. While the Altaïr house is custom-designed for a private client, one of the firm’s most prominent creations may be Quebec City’s Ice Hotel, a pop-up that is different every winter.
