While the Salt’s square rigging is inspired by the Japanese ships of the 17th century, other features are definitely forward-looking: a glasshouse as the central living space, retractable stairs that lead directly onto the water, a stern that opens to create a sea-level terrace. Imagined by Lujac Desautel, this 55-meter sailboat is a cross between the future and the past.
