This year Ford is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its legendary Mustang. To mark the occasion, the Detroit company is launching a 50 Year Limited Edition, but is producing only 1,964 of the premium muscle cars―a nod to 1964, when the model was first unveiled!
The 2015 Ford Mustang Fastback is fully loaded with every available option. Buyers need only decide between two colours, Wimbledon White or Kona Blue, and whether they want a manual or automatic six-speed transmission. Among the design cues that link the Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition to the original model is the retro Mustang badge in the grille. Engine-wise, the muscle car features the same powerful 5.0-L V8 found in the GT, delivering more than 420 horsepower.
In 1964, a Ford Mustang would set you back about $2,300. The price of this new pony will be disclosed later, when the car arrives in the U.S. market, a release slated for fall 2014.
