Motorcycle maker MV Agusta has a storied history that includes Grand Prix wins at the hands of famed racers like Giacomo Agostini, John Surtees, Phil Read and Mike Hailwood.
You can share in that heritage, at least indirectly, with the 2013 MV Agusta F3 675. The late Claudio Castiglioni oversaw development of this stylish Italian sport bike, not long before his untimely death in 2011.
The F3 backs its sexy styling with a triple-cylinder growl from a unique triple-outlet exhaust, and its 675 cc, 129 horsepower three-cylinder engine is controlled by eight levels of traction control, and there are four selectable ride modes that adjust throttle sensitivity from an ultra-lively racetrack setting to a stress-relieving, softer setting for facilitating the ride to work in tight traffic. A race-inspired chassis features fully adjustable suspension.
And if you want to make sure you get to the next stoplight ahead of everyone else, the F3 also features Launch Control for maximum acceleration from a stop.
The MV Agusta F3 retails for $14,995, but if you want to splurge for something really special you can choose the limited edition, $28,995 F3 Serie Oro with higher-spec Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes and special edition livery.
