The Cave, an Inflatable Tent by Heimplanet

August 21, 2013

Are you an outdoor lover, but you absolutely hate to put up your tent? Your suffering days are over! German company Heimplanet has come up with the perfect solution: The Cave, an inflatable tent you can set up in less than one minute. Enjoy your own roof under the stars! The creators of this unusual-looking tent unquestionably know how to combine techno with chic.

Either with a pump or an air compressor, this tent, which accommodates up to three people, is up in no time and can be taken down just as easily. You only need to loosen all valves and voilà—almost all the air will escape without any effort on your part. Once deflated, roll the tent making sure the remaining air is forced out, pack it, and you’re good to go!

Heimplanet claims that The Cave can resist winds of up to 120 km/h. Its geodesic structure offers extreme stability in case of adverse weather. Each air strut has a double layer, which allows keeping the inside air for a longer period of time. The Cave is a sturdy piece of equipment, but just in case, Heimplanet sells replacement parts. The tent retails for $715.
