Nike has launched the most flexible running shoe ever designed: the Nike Free 5.0. And to make sure clients understand that when Nike says “flexibility”, they mean business, the shoes come in a minimalist box.
No need to produce further proof. Three times smaller and narrower than its regular counterpart, the new minimalist box says it all, and the shoes fit in it like a sock.
But flexibility goes beyond the eco-friendly packaging. The Nike Free 5.0 ($100 and more) has been designed for minimalist running and focuses on foot strength rather than joint endurance.
Minimalist running buffs will adore the Free 4.0 and Free 3.0 models, very similar from the design point of view, but with a thinner heel that’s much closer to the ground.
