A pair of running shoes for high-performing men… inspired by women’s bras. An unprecedented combination for sure! Under Armour is however convinced it has uncovered a revolutionary method for making shoes, and this is how SpeedForm was born.
The SpeedForm running shoes ($149) are actually manufactured in an underwear factory in China. The process aims to bring to market the first-ever seamless running shoe. There is no joint between the heel cup and the rest of the shoe, making the SpeedForm as easy to put on as a pair of socks! Even the insole is fused to the rest of the shoe.
According to Under Armour, this fitted design provides a better foothold and promotes faster running, while ensuring more comfort for this pair of athletic shoes.
