Among the all too ordinary hard drives on the market, a new device stands out as a source of inspiration: the Christofle Sphère external hard drive by French company LaCie.
The device has the shape of a silver sphere and is the fruit of the collaboration between LaCie and French silver flatware company Christofle, founded in 1830. This hard drive is as modern as they come, with a capacity of 1 TB and no need for cumbersome power cables. Simply connect it to your computer with a USB 3.0 cable.
The design of this piece is also noteworthy, a true jewel in every sense of the word. The Sphère retails for $490.
