The whole world has been eagerly awaiting the unveiling of Apple’s smartwatch. Elegant, understated, but packing a high-performance punch, the Apple Watch is already looking like a must-have.
The design remains true to the Californian tech giant’s reputation: pure lines and unrivalled precision manufacturing. For its first foray into watchmaking, Apple is offering several models: stainless steel, aluminium and 18-carat yellow or rose gold.
The three watch collections (Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch Edition) and the wide choice of straps will suit a variety of tastes, from sporty to more refined.
Connected to an iPhone, the Apple Watch ($349 and up) will be equipped with a new, specially-designed operating system. Several fitness, health and time management apps will also be a feature of Apple’s latest creation, set for release in 2015.
