Razer Edge Pro, a Tablet for Hard Core Players

May 06, 2013

Do you like playing games on your tablet, but are not impressed with iPad and Android games? Then, Razer Edge Pro is the tablet you’ve been looking for.

Equipped with Windows 8, an operating system compatible with all major PC games on the market, Razer's new tablet is practically a computer in itself. Unlike most Windows 8 tablets, which are generally weak in the power department, the Razer Edge Pro features an Intel Core i7-U3517U processor with clock speed of 1.9 GHz, 8 GB of RAM and a 128 GB SSD drive.

Its 10.1-inch screen, with 1366 x 768 resolution, should not overload the NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M LE graphics processing unit (with 2 GB of DDR3 memory).

At $1,299.99, the Razer Edge Pro is a tad pricey. And you’ll have to add an extra $249.99 if the gamepad controller is a must for you.

However, truth be told, when it comes to playing real video games, no tablet can compete.
